PTA Sponsored walk

The PTA organised a sponsored walk around the local area to raise funds for our school library on Tuesday, 15th March.  They chose a very apt 'St Patrick's Day'  theme.  Teachers and children worked so hard to create banners, flags, hats and much more to wear on the day. It was wonderful fun and I am sure an enjoyable sight for our neighbours too to see a sea of green and happy children passing by their doors. 

There was a gold coin for everyone who completed the walk and a raffle with some lovely prizes for the lucky winners - once again organised by the PTA.

A huge thank you to the PTA for organising such a fun fundraiser and to the children who walked.... there was a phenomenal response and the children raised much needed funds for the library.
