I'm Aarya Shenoy from Niamh C's 4th class.
On 20th April, I took part in PARV 2024 Junior Artists Exhibition organised by Dublin Desi Collective at The Park Community Centre , Firhouse.
There were about 9 participants , aged 10 - 15, me being the youngest . The arts varied from acrylic painting , watercolour painting, Mandala, Madhubani (a type of Indian folk art), paper quilling, pencil sketch and miniature crafts.
I had 18 pieces of art to showcase which included pencil sketch, acrylic painting, sketch pen and colour pencil drawings. I was awarded ''Best in Show'' at the hands of Mrs. Reeti Mishra (spouse of the Indian Ambassador, Akhilesh Mishra) who was the chief guest at the event.
I received a lot of positive feedback and appreciation for my artwork and I'm glad for this encouraging opportunity.
