On Friday, 14th October, Alo's 6th Class took part in The Crocus Project whereby young people and school pupils aged ten years and over plant crocus bulbs in memory of the 1.5 million Jewish children who perished in the Holocaust. The Crocus blooms around the end of January, about the time of international Holocaust Memorial Day (27 January).
Alo's class planted their bulbs in the grounds of Áras an Uachtaráin. They also shared tea with Mrs Sabina Higgins who presented them with certificates. They also met Misneach and Bród, the President's dogs! Check out our photos below.....
