Teachers' Class Preference 2021/22

There are many factors to be taken into account when allocating teachers to class groups. These include children's needs (the most critical factor of all), teachers' needs, their experience, talents, challenges, leadership, special needs, team leaders, etc.
The best combination for the school as a whole has to be prioritised. While it is impossible to allocate every teacher's first preference every year, the aim will be to allocate as many as possible and your understanding is appreciated in this regard. Your happiness at work is an enormous factor both for your own personal wellbeing and for its effect on optimising the enhancement of the children's learning.
This completed sheet will be placed in your personnel folder and referred to again at this time next year.
If there is any child/family whose learning, in your opinion, might not be optimised by your as class teacher, please speak to me in confidence.
