Because the children won’t be “Trick or Treating” in their neighbourhood this year or attending our world-famous PTA Hansfield Halloween disco, we will be organising a small event during school hours to give the children an opportunity to show off their costume and feel an air of Halloween festivity.
This will take place on Friday 23rd October. If any child would prefer not to dress in costume on that Friday, that is perfectly fine. They might like to wear their “cool” clothes instead or just come to school in their usual clothes. Whatever your child is most comfortable doing, is ok with everyone else here in school. Parents of infants should make sure that their child’s costume doesn’t inhibit their child running in the playground, eating their snack or using the toilet. Another great piece of Halloween news is that our PTA have a little surprise for every child which they can collect at home time on Friday 23rd October. Many thanks to The PTA for organising this nice surprise – I wonder what will it be? |
